So, guys. The talent show was today.

I didn't win, but I feel I made my family and my dad proud.

I sang "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins, and gave a speech dedicating it to my dad who died in 2005.

I made around 20 people cry, from what I heard.

I guess that's a good thing, that I'm conveying emotions.

I wanted to win... But I'm actually happy.

I'm happy just the way I am.

I'm content with my life right now.


~~Jeremy sang too. He did beautifully, singing "Find You on My Knees" by Kari Jobe.

~~My friend Harley tied for 3rd place, dancing to a remix of Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye.

~~Oh, and it was so sweet. This little autistic boy won second place. He played piano. It was really great.


Guys... I'm happy.

I know he's looking down on me, my dad. He's soaring on those wings, those beautiful angel wings. He's doing his duties in Heaven, and he's glowing with pride. I just know it.

I miss him, but I'm happy. I'm not missing him in a sad way. I'm missing him with pride... If that makes sense.

I'm really... honestly... happy.
